I do this. You do that.
I live a morning life.
You prefer the night life.
I stayed at home.
You went out.
I remained in the same place.
You traveled a distance.
I live an old-fashioned life.
You live in a modern world.
Though one text away,
Though one call is all it takes.
One 'hello' could make a day,
but still, it's distance-decay.
Every millimeter, or centimeter,
or just a meter, a kilometer.
It adds up to miles and miles,
heated by broken smiles.
It became farther and farther.
Worlds apart and more further.
